Type of boats

Monohull

A monohull is perfect for people who know navigation techniques, love touring and non-motorized navigation, and like to feel the sensations of the wind. They are ideal for single families or groups of friends. Their budgets are generally much more affordable than other options.

Catamaran

A catamaran is a twin-hull boat with two equally-sized hulls placed side by side. It is powered by engines, sails, or both—and they’re known for efficiency and speed. Catamarans are the most common kind of multihull boat. A major advantage of catamarans is their minimal draft which allows them to anchor in shallow areas. It has more space as the boat has a wide beam. Also, they do not heel more than 10-12 degrees so make it a good choice for people who suffer from seasickness. As per its higher space, it is a perfect choice for a larger group of people or families with children who prefer easy sailing combined with the power of a motor. However, catamarans also have their disadvantages: A wide beam can make it difficult to find room at a dock. A crowded anchorage can also represent a challenge. Additionally, chartering a catamaran is more expensive than a monohull.

Gulet

A Gullet is an all-wooden motor-driven sailing yacht that is famed for supplying the zenith of luxury. A gullet is a traditional design of a two-masted or three-masted wooden sailing vessel from the southwestern coast of Turkey, particularly built in the coastal towns of Bodrum and Marmaris; although similar vessels can be found all around the eastern Mediterranean. The average size of a gullet is 20 to 30 meters length and features normally from 4 to 8 cabins. Their average speed is 9-10 knots. As they are bigger, they offer more comfort than any other sailing boat, space, and privacy. A Gullet is perfect for larger family groups or friends who want to experiment with the classic style from the past, combined with luxury and plenty of space.

Motor boat

A motorboat, speedboat or powerboat is a boat that is exclusively powered by an engine. Motorboats range in size from miniature craft designed to carry one person to seagoing vessels of 100 feet (30 m) or more. The medium average speed is 20 mph, which gives them a main advantage compared with sailing boats. Additionally, they are normally spacious, comfort, stable and with a good view from the flybridge. It is the perfect choice if you want to get quickly from one destination to another and spend extra time relaxing on beaches and exploring different places with less time. On the other hand, it is the most expensive option because of the cost of fuel and possible extra services on board.
